Laredo Barracudas Swim Meet Results
We had a few swimmers attend the Laredo Barracuda’s swim meet on the 2nd of March. We had two swimmers compete in their first ever swim meet. Congratulations Braeden McDevitt and Noah Westbrook! Brandon Hamisch had the largest improvement with an 18 second drop in his 500 freestyle as well as improvements in his 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke. Evelyn McDevitt had improvements in her 100 backstroke and her 50 breaststroke! We have attached a copy of the meet results. We are very proud of all of our swimmers! Great job!!

Swim Team Practice 03/11/2019
The pool pump is in the process of being replaced since it died Sunday. The pool temperature is now 73 degrees which is too cold for the swimmers. Consequently, we have to cancel tonight’s practice and will resume practice tomorrow. We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you have any questions, please call Coach Jackie at 361-443-6435.

5:30 Silver and Bronze Swim Team Workout
The 5:30 practice on February 6th and 7th has been cancelled. Coach Jackie is in Mansfield, TX at the TAPPS State Championship Swim Meet. Workout will resume on Monday, February 11th. See you in the water on Monday!
Swim Team Workout on Tuesday, January 22nd and Wednesday, January 23rd
There will not be swim practice on Tuesday, January 22nd and Wednesday, January 23rd. Both coaches will be in San Antonio, Texas at the TAPPS Regional Qualifier Meet. We will have practice on Monday, January 21st even though it is a holiday. We will be back to normal schedule on Thursday, January 24th. We look forward to seeing your swimmers on Monday and Thursday this week! If you have any questions, please let us know. Thanks for all you do for your swimmers!
